Well, there are two options why this is so:
a) It is an "old" posts, imported from the old board. In that case images or links were not "parsed". That means you just see the BB code or the plain link. I'm already looking into possibilities to fix this.
If it is your own post: Just use the edit option, don't change anything and click on submit. The images etc should show up just fine.
b) If it also happens with new threads and / or smilieys don'T show up, it's a problem with your settings.
Click on the user control panel (upper right corner, a little man) or use this link:
ucp.php
Select "Board Preferences" - "Edit display options".

Choose "Yes" for the first five options and click on submit. This should fix it.
